□ The ‘2025 Youth Sexuality Knowledge Quiz Show’, hosted by KoPHWA and supported by Ministry of Health and Welfare(MOHW), took place on July 26th at Seoul City Hall, marking its second successful year.

□ The event aimed to provide young people with accurate and essential knowledge about sexual health, guiding them towards the formation of healthy sexual values.

○ This year’s quiz show was open to youth born between 2007 and 2012 (Excluding university students and those on leave of absence). Participants were invited to engage in a wide range of activities designed to raise awareness and spark conversation around healthy sexual practices, including:

▲ Interactive Zones(Features photo booths, caricature drawings, and fun events)

▲ Youth Dance Team Performance

▲ Themed Quiz Competitions(Contraception, pregnancy, and more)

▲ Expert Lectures

▲ Awards Ceremony

○ Among the prizes, the ‘Grand Prize’ winner received the prestigious ‘Ministry of Health and Welfare Minister’s Award’ and a cash prize of ‘1 million KRW’, while the ‘Excellence Award’ (1 person, 500,000 KRW) and ‘Outstanding Awards’ (3 people, 300,000 KRW each) were presented to the top competitors.

○ Additionally, a range of exciting lucky draw prizes, such as ‘Apple Watches’ and ‘Bluetooth speakers’, were available, and all participants received commemorative gifts.

□ The president of KoPHWA emphasized the importance of fostering positive sexual values, stating, “A healthy understanding of sexuality is the first step toward protecting one’s own body and mind, as well as respecting others.” He also added, “We will continue to lead efforts in promoting healthy and positive perceptions of sexuality by providing diverse programs that combine education and communication.”
