□ KoPHWA and National Center for the Rights of the Child(NCRC) have signed a MOU aimed at establishing a stable support system for the at-risk pregnant women.

□ The agreement, formalized on the 4th, is set to provide critical information and services, ensuring at-risk pregnant women receive timely and coordinated care.

○ The primary goals of this partnership include:

▲ Referral for Medical Services: Connecting at-risk pregnant women with KoPHWA Family Health Clinics and at-risk pregnancy consultation center services

▲ Consultation Support and PR: Offering consultation services on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.

○ As part of this MOU, KoPHWA and NCRC plan to build a regional support system for at-risk pregnant women, with a focus on early identification and swift intervention. Addtionally, by promoting consultation services from both organizations, both organizations aim to strengthen the overall environment for safe childbirth and parenting.

□ Samsik Lee, President of KoPHWA, sated, “Pregnant women and their children are deeply interconnected, and ensuring the rights of children from birth begins with providing essential support to at-risk pregnant women." He added,”Through this partnership, we will leverage our expertise in welfare, healthcare, and counseling to ensure that at-risk pregnant women receive the critical support necessary for a safe and secure childbirth."
